My Journey
From the Pacific Northwest to cloud computing - a story of passion, service, and continuous learning.
In the Beginning
Born and raised in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, now proudly known as the "Silicon Forest," I developed an early fascination with technology. While attending Liberty High School, I delved into the world of computers through my elective courses, where I was introduced to the more intricate and technical aspects of computing.
By the time I graduated in 2008, I had cultivated a deep appreciation for the inner workings of computer systems and a strong foundation that would guide my passion for technology moving forward later on in my career.
Firefighter/EMT
My journey toward becoming a Firefighter and EMT began at Central Oregon Community College in Bend, OR, where I immersed myself in rigorous training and coursework. There, I earned my Firefighter I and EMT-Basic certifications, along with several additional credentials to broaden my expertise and readiness as a first responder.
Following graduation, I proudly served as a professional firefighter with a fire department in Central Oregon, where I continued to hone my skills in both firefighting and emergency medical services through real-world experience and ongoing professional development.
Sheriff Deputy
After my time as a firefighter, I transitioned over to become a Sheriff Deputy, where I spent several years working in various capacities. This experience taught me the importance of attention to detail, working under pressure, and maintaining high standards in challenging environments while still responding to emergency situations.
The Sheriff Office provided valuable lessons in problem-solving and adaptability that would later prove invaluable in my technology career.

Present Day
Today, I'm proud to be a graduate of Western Governor University with a Bachelor's degree in Cloud Computing. My diverse background in emergency services has given me a unique perspective on problem-solving and crisis management that translates perfectly to the technology sector.
I'm actively pursuing opportunities as a cloud engineer, combining my technical education with real-world experience to help organizations leverage cloud technologies effectively and securely.
